Your Lunch Room is a meeting place where the real conversations start and the best ideas are often born!
This project was started by some proud Primary Health Care Nurses., with the purpose of supporting our Primary Health Care Nurse colleagues in our mission to raise our profile in the community.
We thought since it was The International Year of the Nurse and Midwife, it was the perfect tribute to the over 82 000 Primary Health Care Nurses in Australia! (National Health Workforce Survey 2019)
We really want you to get invovled with this project - tell us what products you want see to help build the profile of Primary Health Care Nurses, and be part of the movement!
And just like in real life, in Your Lunch Room, we know there are often donations requested for various charities...but, here, there isn't an overpriced chocolate bar in sight!
On the donations page, you can see the current charity and rest assured that every purchase contributes to a worthwhile charity. Being the giving souls we nurses are, if you are associated with a charity and would like to make a recommendation for the charity for our next season of donations, suggestions are welcomed - just send us a message through the Contact page. We will be sharing how much we are donating too.
This is intended to be a place of fun and sharing some good quality of witty banter, because we know we all need a llaugh sometimes! Of course, our friends who aren't Nurses are welcome here too - in fact, let's invite them so we can spread the word faster about the enormous benefit we bring to the health of the community. We have even added a category of products for our friends who aren't Nurses - just for a bit of fun!
Lastly, and possibly, most importantly, we know humans are social beings, and just like in Your 'actual' Lunch Room - we want you to share laughs and kindness - share your photos, thoughts, and your love for primary health care nursing!
